Friday, July 1, 2022 Food For Friends partnered with San Miguel School, back of the yard neighborhood, to celebrate the class of 2022.
The volunteers from the Chicago Rugby Club and girls HS team the CRC Valkeries arrived in full force at San Miguel eager to serve a meal to the 8thgrade graduates and their families. The parents of the graduates beautifully set up the yard for an outdoor celebration. Music played as the 200 meals were served.
The meal was catered by Lee N Eddies , a long time and valued partner. The meal consisted of lemon chicken, pasta, potatoes, buttery sweet corn, and a dinner roll.
