On Saturday, December 9, 2023 Food For Friends along with Sesajal sponsored a holiday meal for the families of San Miguel School, back of the yard neighborhood in Chicago.
The families beautifully decorated the gymnasium for the festivities. The cater from Lee ‘n Eddie’s set up the meal. Special thank you to the volunteers Phil, Moises, and Hazel that joyfully serve 150 plates. Holiday music played as the families enjoyed the meal. The families were very appreciative. Many of the parents personally thanked the volunteers for their time and the delicious meal.
