On this hot and humid Friday, June 30, Food For Friends partnered with San Miguel School, back of the yard neighborhood, to celebrate the class of 2023.
The volunteers from the Chicago Rugby Club Youth Academy arrived at San Miguel eager to serve a meal to the 8thgrade graduates and their families. The parents of the graduates beautifully set up the yard for an outdoor celebration. A variety of music played as 200 meals were served. The meal was catered by Lee N Eddies , a long time and valued partner. The meal consisted of lemon chicken, pasta, potatoes, buttery carrots, and a dinner roll.
