On Saturday, June 19, 2021, Food For Friends provided some much-needed assistance to 7 single moms from the Fellowship Housing program in Hoffman Estate, IL.
Christina Chacon and Ken Rasbid, Food For Friends board members, loaded groceries from the Life Bridge Community Church . Then drove out to the Fellowship Housing office in Hoffman Estates for distribution.
It was a sunny beautiful day, the moms approached the parking lot they smiled and popped open their truck. Some moms were comfortable enough to park and pick up the groceries. Our small gift of groceries goes a long way to help them save for the future. It is obvious that we are making an impact in the lives of these moms and their children.
