Saturday, April 9, 2022 Food For Friends provided an Easter meal to the men at the Ewing Annex Hotel.
The Ewing Annex Hotel is the last standing single-occupancy housing for men in transition in Chicago, IL.
The event started off with a prayer. Nick, Barb and Mike served the meal to the men. The Easter menu consisted of ham, turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, mixed vegetables, Hawaiian meatballs,
cranberry relish, roll/butter, and a surprise dessert, mini bite size cheesecakes. Many of the men came back for seconds after
everyone was served.
The residents at Annex Hotel truly appreciate Food For Friends and the delicious food from Lee and Eddy's. They thank us for coming monthly since 2021.
