2025 Thanksgiving with New Faith Missionary Baptist Church

I am delighted to share the wonderful news of Food For Friends' continued commitment to supporting families in need within the Chicagoland area. For the third consecutive year, I had the privilege of being a sponsor for New Faith Missionary Baptist Church, located at 8400 S Halsted St, Chicago, IL. This year’s event marked another milestone in our ongoing mission to bring hope and nourishment to our neighbors.

On Wednesday, November 19, 2025, Food For Friends proudly donated 100 turkeys to New Faith Missionary Baptist Church. These turkeys, along with canned goods, were distributed to individuals and families throughout the Auburn Gresham Community. The impact of this donation was immediate and heartfelt, as a lineup of grateful recipients began forming at 9:00 AM, eager to partake in this joyous occasion.

As we reflect on this successful event, we are reminded of the importance of supporting one another, especially during the holiday season. Food For Friends remains committed to uplifting communities across Chicagoland and ensuring that every family has the opportunity to celebrate Thanksgiving with a nourishing meal and a sense of belonging.
