Chicago Hot Meal with Feed the Hungry Program

On Wednesday, March 27, 2024 Food For Friends partnered with the Feed the Hungry Program at New Faith Missionary Baptist Church to sponsor and feed 100 people. This was the second time we have been able to provide a hot meal to the community since they decided to transition this program into a food pantry due to the pandemic.

During this event we were able to feed over 100 people within the Auburn Gresham Community with a hot meal. This event was another huge success! Everyone was very grateful and appreciative. Being a member at this church all my life I saw how impactful this program was for those in need. I was very happy to be able to give back to a place that helped me become the woman I am today.

I am grateful for Food For Friends who continue to show the love and support for those who are less fortunate.
