2025 Thanksgiving at HELPS Ministry

On Nov. 27, 2025, Thanksgiving Day, Food For Friends provided a Thanksgiving meal at the HELPS Ministry in St. Charles.  The meal was catered by Lee N Eddies a longtime and valued partner.  

Food for Friends always helps make this event a success every year! The meal consisted of turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, vegetables, pasta, gravy, Hawaiian meatballs, and Jell-O. H.E.L.P.S. Ministry provided the desserts and beverages. We are excited to report that about 90 guests were provided a delicious meal throughout the day. 

Approximately 12 amazing volunteers attended! The volunteers were great with the setup, serving the meal, and the cleanup. The guests and the volunteers kept saying thank you for having the meal during these hectic times. They wanted to give thanks and needed to gather with others. 

Overall, event was great. We are so grateful for the partnership and volunteers.
