2024 Golf Outing Fundraiser

Dear Friends,

Thank you for making our 2024 Food For Friends Golf fundraiser another successful event.  Our golf committee wishes to send a special thank you to all the golfers, sponsors, and hard-working smiling-volunteers who attended or contributed to the event this last Tuesday. Once again we were blessed with a beautiful day for fun with our friends.

We had 124 golfers signed up along with 10 volunteers, where we started with a warm welcome and our traditional 9-11 Patriot Day Remembrance ceremony where the Bartlett VFW post 11081, Bartlett Police Honor Guard, and Bartlett Fire Department stood in representation of those who have served our country.  Once the golfers wrapped up play we broke bread together and had our annual raffle.  We had representation from many of our long-time partners including Fellowship Housing, Annex Hotel, and the HELPS Ministry.   The highlight for many was the heartfelt messages from guest speakers as a single mother supported by Food For Friends shared her journey of hardship and successes, along with an inspiring story from one of our long time volunteers who serves monthly at the Annex Hotel.  

We appreciate your continued commitment to support our mission.  As a result of your generosity we are able to raise over $35,000 to continue funding the good work God has planned through FOOD FOR FRIENDS - to Fight Hunger and Give Hope.
