On Saturday, Dec 18 Food For Friends provided a Holiday meal to the men at the Ewing Annex Hotel. The Ewing Annex Hotel is the last standing single-occupancy housing for men in transition in Chicago, IL. All went well, as always. The food arrived before 10:30 and the men helped get it upstairs. The event was a great. We started with a prayer and a short history of FFF. Many men are regulars and they enjoy seeing us, especially during this time. we had enough food for everyone to enjoy and some extras. The menu consisted of Fried chicken, meatballs, sweet potatoes with marshmallows, mac and cheese, greens, rolls with butter, cookies and bottled water. The men were very satisfied. As usual, the men were very grateful and appreciative. Blessings!
