On Saturday, June 19, 2021, Food For Friends partnered with the Life Bridge Community Church and Cristo es la Roca in Wauconda for a Mobile Food Pantry to serve their community at large.
Cristo es la Roca and Life Bridge Church served a little under 100 families is this weekend’s event. Each family was served a box of produce, dairy products, and canned goods.
Although COVID-19 brings us to do things a little different, leaders worked together to make sure both volunteers and guests were served with love and care. As COVID-19 restrictions lighten we can see start to see fully vaccinated volunteer serve with a big smile.
Big thank you to all our volunteers and all our sponsors that make events like this possible. Your generosity in time and resources makes a huge impact. We are blessed to have you as part of our Food For Friends family. Hope to see you at our next Mobile Food Drive!
