2025 Thanksgiving with Most Worshipful Celestial Grand Lodge NFP

For the third consecutive year, Food For Friends has continued its heartfelt tradition of donating 50 turkeys to families in need, reinforcing the spirit of compassion and solidarity that defines the holiday season. These annual donations not only provide nourishment, but also symbolize a community’s commitment to uplifting its neighbors and ensuring no one is left behind during Thanksgiving.

This year’s outreach, held on November 22, 2025, extended to the west side of Chicago, where Food For Friends partnered with the Most Worshipful Celestial Grand Lodge NFP to host a special giveaway at 616 S St Louis Ave. On that day, volunteers distributed 50 turkeys and blue bags filled with essentials to local families, creating a day of joy and generosity.

The Most Worshipful Celestial Grand Lodge NFP is dedicated to serving impoverished neighborhoods throughout Chicago. Structured as a non-profit, the Grand Lodge emphasizes community service, mentorship, and youth enrichment. By organizing events like the turkey giveaway, they aim to foster resilience, hope, and a sense of belonging among families and young people, empowering them to build a brighter future through acts of kindness and civic involvement.
