2025 Easter Meal at Music Box Foundation

On Easter Day, volunteers of Music Box Foundation and Food For Friends gathered to serve 150 meals to the Woodlawn community. Thirty of these meals were packaged and delivered directly to the Edwin C. Berry Manor, a senior living home nearby. Guests were served chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner rolls, and mostaccioli while enjoying music from a live DJ performing at the event. Children also selected from a variety of fun and colorful Peeps, the classic Easter treat!

Tucked within the residential streets of Woodlawn, Music Box Foundation is more than just a neighbor — it's a part of the fabric of the community it calls home. As a part of their mission “To Be a Catalyst for Building Healthy Communities,” they prioritize relationships with locals to become a pillar of support and foster positive growth. Music Box Foundation is deeply grateful for its partnership with Food for Friends. Their generous support through volunteers and food donations has not only nourished those we serve, but also helped us welcome new neighbors and build lasting relationships within the community.
