On Saturday, Oct. 8, 2022, Food For Friends provided a meal to the men at the Ewing Annex Hotel. The Ewing Annex Hotel is the last standing single-occupancy housing for men in transition in Chicago, IL.
The meal was catered, delivered and set up by Dan Veles from Lee N Eddie’s. The menu consisted of fried chicken (always a favorite), Hawaiian meatballs, mashed potatoes and gravy, mixed vegetables, roll with butter, cookie and bottled water.
Everyone had their fill and was grateful that Food For Friends continues to serve lunch monthly for the past two years. It's always a mutual blessing.
